Overview
For 15 seasons, I called the costume shop at Ballet Austin home. I worked my way up from being a dresser and stitcher to managing wardrobe/shoes and designing as the company grew. Along the way, I gained many invaluable skills. I have also been fortunate to put my talents as a designer, stylist and stitcher to use for local Austin companies such as Performa/Dance, Esther's Follies, Penfold Theater Company and Different Stages. In 2018, I decided to take a break from costuming and worked in events creation and management for Alamo Drafthouse. My events work came to an end with the onset of the pandemic and the universe once again called me back to the world of costuming through film in 2021.
